They’re nice and thick but very rough and scratchy, hopefully just need to wash them quite a few more times to soften them up

Love it!

I was after Australian made sheets and came across these. I was a little hesitant at the price (think we’re all used to overseas made prices) and I got these during the Black Friday sale. Definitely don’t regret it and would definitely say you get what you pay for!

Firstly, these sheets are just divine. So comfortable to sleep on, so crisp. They’re thick and nice quality. Love the decorative embroidered line at the top of the sheet. Being pure cotton, they aren’t wrinkle free, but they’re pretty good after a line dry and don’t need an iron.

I’ve never had a fitted top sheet before, but my mother reassured me that they are great, so I decided to get one. Unfortunately, they don’t come in the sheet set, so I had to purchase everything separately.

The fitted top sheet is so efficient - no more untucked sheet in the morning, easy to make, and stays in place all night, even for a really restless sleeper like me.

I bought the super Queen and it was generously sized for my latex bed. Definitely no riding up or effortful stretching to get them to fit.

Highly recommend these sheets and especially the fitted top sheet.

Great purchase

The Egyptian Cotton Fitted Top sheet we purchased can only be described as amazing. We travel extensively in our caravan and have for many years had unending problems with a normal top sheet. We’ve been using the fitted one for a few weeks now and it has NEVER let us down. Why didn’t we find this years ago?

The top fitted sheet fitted quite well but is far too noisy. It sounds like plastic crunching.

I’d about given up on trying to find nice, thick sheets that had a feel of durability about them. These Actil sheets are ‘industrial’, which may not be to everyone’s taste, but they should last and I like the rich, heavy and coarse feel of them. They are generously sized so plenty of length of the top sheet to tuck at the bottom and fold over at the top. Would love to see them in a couple of earthy colours rather than just white, but I will be buying more either way.

I've had difficulty buying 'stiff' sheets, have bought many according to thread count and have failed miserably, it is more than difficult to buy sheets that way so I googled hotel quality sheets because they always seem 'starched/stiff' the ACTIL Commercial sheets are the closest I've come to what I want and they're brilliant, obviously going to buy more for the rest of the beds in due course, thanks

Just another grumpy old man

Sheets have only been washed once, so perhaps it's too early to tell. What i do deeply regret is the mattress size they were cut for. I've got a top of the range mattress bought in 2009, and with proper care is still extremely comfortable. But with sheets at 40 cm and a mattress at 22cm, the sheets bunch up; the very thing I was hoping to avoid by buying new sheets! I was prepared to pay up to $400 for the best thing. I'm 74 years old, what else am I going to do with my money when I like nice sheets? (And BTW, 48cm mattresses look like joke mattresses. Talk about the princess and the pea.) Sorry about the rant, but in my little life out here in the bush, and all the rotten pains of galloping old age, having a comfortable bed that I'm spending increasing amounts of time in, is one of the last pleasures. So, if you can find crisp hotel quality sheets, 22cm thick, do let me know. Cheers Peter

Gosh I would love to give you a great review but I just can’t I’m sorry. The pillow isn’t really that good. I truly thought it was going to be a pillow exactly like the ones at The Marriott and Hilton that are so lush and soft and where you never wake with a sore neck or sore ears. Perhaps I just chose the wrong one.

Not ideal

Probably my fault for not reading the online information properly.
I am not happy with these pillow slips because the material is too thin - can see the pillow inside the pillow case. I like the pillow case to cover any unfortunate characteristics in the pillow itself.
I meant to order Actil First Line pillow slips which I really like. I am not interested in the 900 count - which I did not take in when I was ordering. I think "thread counts" are fadish.
I will try again sometime.
